Caribbean awaits Cricket World Cup

The people of the Caribbean are gearing up for one of the biggest sporting events in the world when the Cricket World Cup comes to town.
Officials on all of the islands that are taking part are anticipating a massive influx of foreign tourists and it is great news for the region.
The revenue generated by the thousands of people who will attend is likely to change the lives of many and the spectacle itself will be long remembered by anyone who attends.
Fans from all across the world will be coming together to see their team play but there will also be plenty of time for relaxing between matches.
You could not ask for a better place for chilling out than in the Caribbean and the region's fantastic, sun-soaked beaches and crystal clear sea will be the perfect cure for any post-match hangovers.
The countries that are to host matches during the World Cup are Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago.
The 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup is due to begin on 13 March, with the final taking place on 28 April.
