Paul Smith at Terminal Five
08 March 2007

People travelling through Heathrow's Terminal Five, when it opens in 2008, are being told of yet more fantastic shopping opportunities.

Airport company BAA has been promising travellers that the new terminal will change the face of airport shopping after signing a number of major brands to the project.

The latest retail giant and fashion icon to sign up to the Terminal Five project is Paul Smith.

The British designer will provide the terminal with a unique store called Globe that is said to reflect his eclectic taste.

'We are always looking for unique opportunities to create something different for our customers, and the landmark nature of Terminal Five fits that need absolutely,' said Smith.

'From the design of the building itself through to the focus on delivering the best for the traveller at every stage of his or her journey, we like what we see.'

An assortment of special and exclusive items are said to be included in the store such as rare books, photographic prints and unique furniture.
