Movie buffs around the world will be waiting with baited breath for the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
The French Riviera becomes awash with movie goers, celebrities and the press every May as the festival rolls into town.
Recognised globally as one of the cinematic events of the year, the Cannes festival welcomes the best and brightest talent in the movie world.
Holidaymakers will be able to catch a glimpse of Hollywood's finest at the event, although the majority of screenings are for industry figures only.
When all of the celebrities have vanished for the day Cannes continues to party, with special events held in honour of the festival.
Bars and restaurants in the surrounding area all get onboard as Cannes enjoys its greatest moment in the limelight.
