UK space centre holds alien Easter egg hunt
13 March 2007

Visitors to the National Space Centre in Leicester, UK will be given the chance to have an out-of-this-world experience over the Easter period.

People are being invited to take part in an alien Easter egg hunt which will be conducted within the centre. The hunt will include the six interactive galleries and even the rocket tower.

As well as the alien eggs, visitors will be treated to an invasion of gallery buskers.

A team of scientists, unlike any other, will be performing scientific magic in the centre, offering people the chance to see real science close up.

Officials are claiming to have covered everything for the Easter holiday, with a design competition even being held.

Entrants will be required to come up with a new invention which will then be sent to Disney and the winner's idea will be used in its new film Meet the Robinsons.

The National Space Centre is the biggest visitor attraction in the UK which is dedicated to space and has seen over one million people pass through its doors since it opened in 2001.
