Jessica Simpson does Australia

Actress Jessica Simpson has flown into Oz to join boyfriend of eight months John Mayer for his Australian tour, and the couple are almost inseparable, according to press sources Down Under.
In the follow-up tour to his 2006 Continuum album, 29-year-old solo singer John Mayer is playing a series of Australia-wide gigs which encompass Sydney and Melbourne venues.
He remains relatively unknown outside the States, despite winning American Grammy award for his blues compositions.
The better-known 26-year-old actress, who most recently appeared in mild comedy Employee Of The Month, recently returned from a romantic sojourn in Rome with Mayer.
Their intense relationship has been given the nod of approval by Jessica's blonde lookalike little sister Ashlee, who 'loves John', a friend told People newspaper.
Mayer toys with comedy on the New York circuit and recently dodged a question about his relationship with Simpson by telling the interviewer in Japanese: 'you'll be the last to know'.
