Fear of flying courses held at Leeds-Bradford
19 April 2007

A fear of flying need not spell the end of international travel for sufferers as Virgin Atlantic Airways launches a set of courses aimed at helping passengers overcome the problem.

The Flying Without Fear courses are to be held at Leeds-Bradford airport in the UK with the aim of making air travel a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

The first all-day lesson will be held on 17 June and will be available throughout the rest of the year.

Airline pilots, aviation experts and psychotherapists are involved in the courses and Virgin chairman Sir Richard Branson says that the sessions can be very useful.

'Now that these courses are so readily available to the public, we hope as many people as possible will take advantage and go on to complete the course with a new found confidence in their ability to fly without fear,' he said.

'We are thrilled that we are able to offer yet another venue for the hugely successful Flying Without Fear course, which will mean more people can reap the benefit of this course.'

Virgin's Flying Without Fear course is also currently available at London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Luton, Newcastle and Southampton airports.
