Seoul hosts biggest break dancing champs
23 May 2007
Body poppers and break dancers will be gathering in Seoul, South Korea for a massive dancing competition in the coming weeks.
The world's largest break dancing championship will be taking place in the capital city between 31 May and 3 June and organisers say it is going to be an event to remember.
Named R-16 Korea Sparkling Seoul, the championship brings together 16 crews from across the world to compete for the title.
There are two divisions in which to compete, with individuals taking part in the Performance Battles, while groups of dancers fight it out in the Crew Battles.
The championship is to be surrounded by other events, such as a huge pre-event party, a concert of Korea's latest talent and graffiti fair.
The 'R' in R-16 stands for 'respect' and the 16 signifies the number of countries competing in the event.
