KLM updates online check-in service
29 May 2007
Passengers flying with KLM can now get more from the airline's online check-in service.
Those travelling from Singapore, Manila and Curacao to Amsterdam are now able to reserve seats with extra leg room before they even leave their homes.
Travellers need to simply pay 50 (£35) for the privilege and they will be guaranteed an economy class seat with additional space.
KLM's online check-in service was first introduced in 2004 and recent figures show that it is proving popular with 600,000 KLM and Air France passengers using the service.
Passengers are able to check in online between one hour and 30 hours before their flight is due to depart.
The service is only available to those who travel with carry-on luggage only.
