Pembrokeshire Fish Week
31 May 2007
Fish enthusiasts, both those who enjoy eating them and those who enjoy learning about them, will be flocking to the UK this summer.
The English county of Pembrokeshire is hosting Pembrokeshire Fish Week, in which visitors will be able to enjoy all things fish.
Festivities kick off on 23 June when a family fun day is held at Milford Haven, with children's entertainment and sea-themed music keeping everyone amused.
This is followed by a series of fish-based cookery classes, along with food and craft stalls and a number of delicious barbeques.
Following the fun day, Pembrokeshire Fish Week continues with a number of activities centred on fish.
Events will be taking place throughout the county until 1 July and anyone with a soft spot for our scaly friends would be crazy to miss out.
Among the other activities taking place are seashore safaris, crab catching and river cruises, while local pubs and restaurants will be promoting local fish on their menus.
