Cayman Jazz Fest
11 June 2007

The 2007 Cayman Jazz Fest has been announced with the islands' minister of tourism confirming the dates.

Charles Clifford has announced that the festival will take place between 29 November and 1 December, reports website Caycompass.com.

The festival will feature performances from jazz and R&B artists and will offer thousands of people the chance to kick back and relax to their soothing sounds while enjoying the glorious sunshine.

'While talent has not yet been confirmed I can guarantee jazz fans that they are in for a treat,' said Mr Clifford.

'Cayman Jazz Fest is becoming increasingly well known on the jazz circuit and, as word continues to spread and we are able to attract bigger names, we expect the number of attendees both visitors and residents to increase year on year.'

The Cayman Islands are British owned and situated in the western Caribbean Sea. The region is known as being one of the leading scuba diving destinations in the whole world.
