Glastonbury 2007
20 June 2007
The world's most famous music festival is just days away and thousands of revellers are beginning to think about making their way to Glastonbury.
The Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts is due to officially kick off on 22 June but partygoers will begin to arrive as early as 20 June.
Camping fields, markets and performance fields are accessible from this date before the main stage opens on 22 June.
Glastonbury 2007 has one of the greatest line-ups of any festival around the world and the famous Pyramid Stage is due to host some of the biggest acts on the planet.
Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, The Fratellis, Amy Winehouse, The Killers, The kooks, Lily Allen, The Who, Dame Shirley Bassey and many more will appear on stage at different points throughout the weekend.
Other stages will also host massive acts with the likes of Bjork, Klaxons, The Chemical Brothers, Gossip and Damien Marley all performing at the festival.
As with each year of Glastonbury, the festival gets bigger each year and organisers are expecting many thousands of people to turn up.
Unfortunately it is too late to get tickets for this event but you can use Opodo's travel search engine to find flights and hotels for other music festivals.
