Norwegian in new Moscow link
22 June 2007

The airline Norwegian has announced that it is laying on a new route to Russia.

The carrier wants to improve aviation links between Norway and Russia and says that it intends to provide flights between Oslo and Moscow.

Five flights per week will serve the route and Norwegian says that this will suite holidaymakers and those flying between the cities for business reasons.

'We are very pleased to offer a new direct route between Moscow and Oslo and believe that this route will stimulate both business and leisure to both cities,' said Daniel Skjeldam, director network at Norwegian.

'The time table offers a good flexibility for the business traveller and at the same time it also gives the customers the possibility to visit the cities for a weekend or a longer holiday.'

Norwegian flights will take off and land at Moscow's Domodedovo airport which is the city's most modern hub.
