Huge reggae festival in Jamaica
22 June 2007
Music fans will be flocking to Jamaica this summer for what has been dubbed 'the world's biggest reggae festival'.
The 15th Red Stripe Reggae SumFest is due to kick-off in July and will be a celebration of Jamaica and reggae music.
Most of the festival's line-up has already been confirmed, with the likes of LL Cool J, Mary J Blige, Shaggy and Beenie Man all set to take to the stage.
A host of other acts are also due to perform at Montego Bay and organisers believe around 55,000 people will turn out to see the stars.
The event last for five days and starts on Sunday 15 July with a beer-inclusive beach party.
This is followed by the Mad Monday Mo-bay Street Jam on 16 July, which is widely regarded in Jamaica as the street dance of the year.
Revellers are then given a few days to rest before the party begins again on Thursday 19 July and continues until Saturday 21 July.
