Hugh Laurie 'revs it up' in Los Angeles

British actor and comedian Hugh Laurie turned heads in Los Angeles this week as he sped down the streets on a vintage Triumph Bonneville motorbike, following a meeting with his agents.
The actor, who portrays the misanthropic doctor in the hit television show House, has had a strong passion for motorbikes, much like his sulky on-screen alter-ego, since he was given his first bike by his father as a teen.
'Driving a motorcycle is like flying. All your senses are alive,' he told a US publication. 'When I ride through Beverly Hills in the early morning, and all the sprinklers have turned off, the scents that wash over me are just heavenly.'
Although he spends much of his time in Los Angeles filming House – he has just signed on for a fourth season – the husband and father of three still counts London as his home.
Hugh Laurie will be reappearing on the big screen later this year alongside Keanu Reeves in the crime thriller, The Night Watchmen.
