The day John Terry met Paris

Paris Hilton was among the celebrity guests attending Los Angeles party thrown by British football club Chelsea FC this week, as they embark upon their US pre-season tour.
Many of Hollywood brightest young stars attended the event, showing the increasing status of the sport in the US. Actress Tara Reid, Sex in the City star Kristin Davis and model Kimberly Stewart were all seen chatting with footballers Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Didier Drogba and the Chelsea captain, John Terry.
Ms Hilton professed to having attended the party in the hopes of meeting new LA golden boy David Beckham, who recently joined the team LA Galaxy. Unfortunately for the blonde socialite, the Beckhams did not attend the party thrown by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
David Beckham will meet up with his English compatriots on Saturday, as Chelsea take on LA Galaxy.
