EMA passengers to fly far and wide this winter
19 September 2007
East Midlands Airport (EMA) has announced a number of new destinations that will be served by operators from its base this winter.
Goa in India will be one of the new options for local holidaymakers, with services from EMA beginning in February.
People looking for a winter sports holiday can also fly to Innsbruck from the East Midlands hub in December.
Penny Coates, EMA managing director, said that the destinations offered from the airport are 'bigger and better than ever before'.
She added: 'Destinations such as the Gambia, Cancun and Morocco proved to be a real hit last year and we hope our passengers take advantage of the range on offer.
'The new routes for winter 2007 are great news for the airport as we continue to offer our customers a growing portfolio of destinations for them to choose for their winter break.'
