Catch the rhythm in Cabo
04 October 2007
Jazz lovers will have the opportunity in December to celebrate their favourite musical genre in one of the world's most glamorous locations - Mexico's Cabo San Lucas.
The resort will host a three-day jazz festival in December, held at various venues in the town and on Sunset Beach.
Free concerts are traditionally held in the town to kick the festival off, along with parties and dinner events.
There are then two solid days of unadulterated jazz around Cabo San Lucas, which are drawn to a close with a triumphant fireworks display.
The town, which is popularly known simply as Cabo, is situated on the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.
It has swiftly developed into a popular luxury holiday destination, with resorts and hotels appearing along the coast. One of the major factors in its popularity is its miles of unspoiled beaches.
