Atkinson flies into Brisbane International
09 November 2007
Glamour model and actress Gemma Atkinson is the latest famous face to arrive at Brisbane International Airport in preparation for hit TV show I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here.
The former Hollyoaks actress looked excited as she strolled through customs at the Australian transport hub in trendy jeans and shades.
She joins a number of other celebrities who have flown out to Australia for the show including Anna Ryder Richardson, former EastEnder Marc Bannerman and Prince Andrew's ex Koo Stark.
The 23-year-old may not be looking forward to the infamous Bushtucker trials but she will no doubt be making the most of the sub-tropical climate and exotic wildlife.
For those who fancy a trip to Brisbane without having to swallow a sheep's eyeball the city has plenty on offer, including the lush South Bank parklands and City Botanical Gardens.
Brisbane's Queensland Art Gallery is also a popular spot with visitors and currently houses one of the largest Andy Warhol collections ever put together.
