Toronto visitors to experience WinterCity
07 December 2007

Toronto will welcome an influx of visitors in January next year as it hosts the annual WinterCity festival.

Now in its fifth year, this award-winning festival acts as a celebration of the traditions and culture of Toronto and features a number of performances, entertainment events and culinary experiences.

For two weeks visitors are treated to a celebration of Toronto's hospitality industry, its world class attractions and the creativity of the performers it has produced.

Nathan Phillips Square is one of the best places to find open-air entertainment, with a number of festivals and performances by musicians and theatrical troupes.

There will also be indoor events, including culinary demonstrations and acrobatic showcases, as well as a prix fixe promotion across the city involving more than 100 of Toronto's top restaurants and eateries.

The WinterCity festival will run at various locations in the city from 25 January to 7 February.
