Singapore caters for the kids
07 December 2007
Singapore Airlines has developed a new range of inflight products designed to cater for the needs of the younger traveller.
The offering has been developed in partnership with the Cartoon Network broadcasting company and will include a number of themed toys, games and fun packs.
Crayon packs based on the PowerPuff Girls and Ben-10 programmes will be among the first giveaways, along with art books, keychain wallets and activity packs.
This initiative represents the first time that Cartoon Network toys have been made available in partnership with an airline.
Singapore Airlines said that, following customer surveys and feedback from younger travellers, Cartoon Network was found to be the 'ideal partner' for this programme.
Yap Kim Wah, senior vice-president of products and services with the carrier, said: 'We are delighted to roll out this suite of amenities and services shortly after the A380.
'This shows how important young travellers are to Singapore Airlines.'
