Dubai to host art festival

Dubai will be teeming with art lovers and culture vultures in a couple of months' time as it hosts its annual art festival.
Between 19 and 22 March, Art Dubai will take place at the arena of the Madinat Jumeirah resort.
This fair has become an important part of the rapidly growing art community in the Middle East, as it was the first contemporary art showcase to be held in Dubai.
In 2008, nearly 70 galleries will be incorporated into the event, including work from all across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, the Americas, north Africa and Australia.
The Madinat Jumeirah complex is known as Dubai's Arabian resort, with a style and design that pays tribute to the emirate's heritage.
It includes two luxury restaurants, the Magnolia and the Layali, which offers a unique view of the famous Burj Al Arab hotel.
