Champions League draw sets up European travels
14 March 2008
Football fans will be preparing their European travel plans following the draw for the quarter-final of the Champions League.
Manchester United supporters will be able to look forward to a trip to Italy, as they were drawn against Roma.
This tie is sure to be a spicy one as the Serie A side will be looking for revenge after United thrashed them 7-1 at the quarter-final stage of last year's Champions League competition.
Chelsea fans will be booking their flights and hotels in Turkey after their side were drawn against Fenerbahce.
One of the favourites for the competition, Barcelona, will play German side Schalke for a place in the semi-finals of Europe's top club tournament.
In the only all-Premiership tie of the round, Arsenal were drawn against Liverpool, the side that won the Champions League in 2005 and reached the final last year.
First legs of the knockout ties will be played on 1 and 2 April, with the deciding games scheduled for 8 and 9 April.
