Simpsons ride takes visitors to Krustyland

A new Simpsons-themed ride at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California, is set to take visitors on a trip to Krustyland, a theme park featured in the cartoon comedy show, according to reports.
Park visitors step through the mouth of a huge Krusty the Clown head to see a map giving details of the ten rides and five shows on offer in Krustyland, reports the Los Angeles Times.
After being given a tour of the new attraction, the newspaper revealed that the rides will include a Radioactive Man roller coaster, while a Krusty Stunt Show will be among the live entertainment events.
Visitors who have queries about their trip around Krustyland can ask Moe the bartender, who mans the information booth.
The brand new ride at Universal Studios Hollywood is set to open on 17 May after a $40m (£20.3m) development.
It is one of many new rides that visitors to the US will be able to enjoy this summer, with the new Aquatica park officially opening its gates in Orlando last week.
