Tourist stumbles into Hollywood movie role

A British tourist took an unusual gamble during a trip to Las Vegas and ended up getting more than he bargained for.
Carl Kelly, a salesman from Knebworth, Hertfordshire, decided that he would try his luck and see if he could get onto the set of the movie Iron Man, which was filming in the Nevada city.
The 29-year-old managed to persuade security guards that he was an extra on the film and spent hours sitting in the background while a casino scene was being recorded.
Mr Kelly got something of a surprise, however, when he was asked if he could appear in a scene with Gwyneth Paltrow, one of the stars of the movie.
He said yesterday: 'Some 38 takes later, I think they were getting pretty fed up with me – but that's what happens when you let an untrained nobody into your film.'
The tourist's bluff lasted so long that he ended up missing his plane home, but he might feel as if it was worth it seeing as he now appears in some of the promotional images for Iron Man, sitting a few feet from lead actor Robert Downey Jr.
