Line-up announced for Antigua festival
21 April 2008
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourist Office has announced that it will be presenting a 'star-studded' line-up of performers for an inaugural music festival this year.
Travellers will be able to attend the Romantic Rhythms Music Festival between 13 and 15 June.
Lionel Richie will be among the headline acts for the event, along with Shaggy, Keyshia Cole, Kenny Rodgers, Maxi Priest and the Atlantik band.
Two concerts will comprise the overall festival, which will also include a number of regional performers, meaning that Romantic Rhythms is set to be one of the most popular aspects of the Caribbean calendar.
The Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba has also confirmed the line-up for a forthcoming music event, the Soul Beach Festival, which will take place between 21 and 26 May.
Erykah Badu and Wyclef Jean will be among the biggest names on the bill, along with Sean Kingston and comedian Sinbad.
