01 May 2008

Football fans heading to Moscow for the Champions League final will see a contest of north against south and red against blue after Chelsea beat Liverpool in the tournament's second semi-final.

The London side will now play Manchester United in the Russian capital's Luzhniki stadium on 21 May.

Chelsea eventually beat Liverpool 4-3 on aggregate in a thrilling match that had to go to extra time before a winner was decided.

The Blues' final against Manchester United will mean that the two sides are going head to head at home and abroad at the end of the season, as they are on equal points in the Premier League with just two games left.

Fans travelling to Moscow can catch flights to one of the city's main airports, the largest of which are Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo.
