Tour de France prepares to launch

Sports fans from across the world will soon be heading to Brittany for the launch of the Tour de France.
The famous cycle race will begin in the north-eastern city of Brest on 5 July, with a 197km leg to Plumelec, followed by a route from Auray to Saint-Brieuc on 6 July.
Over the following three weeks the competing cyclists will travel through the heart of France to the south, passing through locations including Toulouse, Narbonne and Saint-Etienne.
The climactic day of the event will be 27 July, when the riders will race from Etampes to the famous finish line on Paris' Champs-Elysees.
A total of 21 stages will comprise the 95th Tour de France, covering a distance of 3,500km.
The gruelling contest will include five mountain stages, two time-trial stages and four mountain finishes.
