Dubai 'doing a stellar marketing job'

The emirate of Dubai has been praised for doing a 'stellar' job of marketing itself and the Middle East region as a whole.

Chintan Mahida of Nubricks.com, an online resource for people considering an overseas property investment, said that Dubai and other emirates such as Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are enjoying strong interest from tourists and investors alike.

She explained that the popularity of Dubai among holidaymakers had a knock-on effect on its reputation with potential property buyers.

'Dubai has done a stellar job of marketing not only itself, but the region as a whole to the global press,' Ms Mahida said.

'Dubai's continued large scale investment into modern visitor attractions is driving not only increased tourism but interest from investors who can see the future potential Dubai holds as an international tourism visitor hotspot.'

The emirate of Dubai will boast a number of new attractions in the future, with parts of the Palm Jumeirah island and the Dubailand theme park set to open in coming years.
