10 September 2008
Dubai-based luxury hospitality group Jumeirah has been recognised in a number of categories in the 2008 Conde Nast readers' travel awards.
The Jumeirah Emirates Towers was voted the fourth best overseas business hotel, while the Madinat Jumeirah was ranked tenth in the same category.
Jumeirah's Carlton Tower was named the best business hotel in the UK owing to its convenient Knightsbridge location and the range of services it offers to corporate guests.
The hospitality group said that the awards demonstrated the value of its brand promise to 'stay different'.
Guy Crawford, chief executive officer of Jumeirah, said: 'As a young and rapidly expanding international luxury hospitality company, Jumeirah is proud to have been awarded this array of prestigious titles by Conde Nast's distinctive readers.
'Our presence at these awards truly demonstrates our continued commitment to "stay different" and we would like to thank readers for their support and recognition.'
Dubai is home to some of the world's most famous hotels, including the iconic Burj Al Arab, which at 321 metres in height is the world's tallest building used exclusively as a hotel.
