Top Gear to hit the road
30 September 2008
Top Gear Live will set off on its world tour this month, giving fans of the programme a number of opportunities to combine a live show with a holiday in the UK or abroad.
Earls Court in London will be the first venue to host the live show from 30 October to 1 November, before it heads to the Birmingham NEC from 13 to 16 November, followed by the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin from 27 to 30 November.
Hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will take a Christmas break before giving holidaymakers in Johannesburg a chance to see their raucous show from 29 January to 1 February.
The Acer Arena in Sydney will be the next stop on the world tour between 5 and 8 February, followed by venues in Auckland (12-15 February) and Hong Kong (19-22 February).
Everything that motoring fans would expect will feature in the show, including presentations of the most impressive and powerful supercars on the market today.
The troublemaking trio of presenters will also take part in on-stage car football games and be joined by the famous Stig for plenty of stunts, crashes and explosions.
Opodo cheap flights, hotels and car hire - let the journey begin!
