Lovebox Weekender comes to Dublin
03 July 2008
Visitors to Dublin will be able to find plenty of musical entertainment this August if they head to Marlay Park about ten miles outside the city centre.
The park will round off a packed month of concerts with the Lovebox Dublin Weekender, which will take place on 23 August.
This event will follow its better known London counterpart, scheduled for 19 and 20 July, and feature a line-up of artists headed by Maximo Park, N.E.R.D, Paulo Nutini and Kid Creole and the Coconuts.
Visitors will also be able to explore a traditional organic farmers market, entertain themselves at a funfair and keep any younger visitors happy in a kids' play area.
The London and Dublin festivals are among a number of events to be presented by Lovebox this year, including a number of 'backroom sessions' at the Eden nightclub in Ibiza on every Friday until 19 September.
Marlay Park is set to provide its visitors with a busy programme of music concerts in August, including shows by Muse, Lenny Kravitz, Metallica and the Killers.
Opodo cheap flights, hotels and car hire - let the journey begin!
