Bushmills offers top reasons to visit Northern Ireland
19 September 2008
Irish Whiskey company Bushmills has offered holidaymakers a number of reasons to visit Northern Ireland over the coming months.
Top of the list for many people will be the range of entertainment events on offer, with top stand-up Lee Evans bringing his UK tour to Belfast on 15 October.
There will be plenty to entertain music fans as well, with Oasis playing at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on 29 and 30 October before Coldplay bring their Viva la Vida tour to the same venue on 18 December.
Fans of sport may be interested in trying the surfing opportunities on offer around the coast of Northern Ireland, or visiting one of the many golf courses to be found in the area.
The biggest tourist attraction of all in Northern Ireland is the Giant's Causeway, an area of some 40,000 interlocking basalt columns that were formed by an ancient volcanic eruption.
Just down the road from this famous location is the Bushmills Irish Whiskey distillery, which is this year celebrating the 400th anniversary of first receiving its licence, making it the oldest working distillery in Ireland.
Opodo cheap flights, hotels and car hire - let the journey begin!
